Whether the property is Encumbrance Free?


Apply for encumbrance certificate in the office of jurisdictional Sub-Registrar Office from the date of first sale till date (indicating the correct dimension, property number, khata number, conversion number, survey number along with boundaries)
In case of any transaction is dealt with respect to the property for the period you have applied for encumbrance certificate then the office of Sub-Registrar shall issue in Form – 15 and
In case of no transaction is dealt with respect to the property for the period you have applied for encumbrance certificate then the office of Sub-Registrar shall issue in Form – 16 [which is also called as NIL encumbrance]
Note: Every period for calculation of fee is financial year i.e, 1st April.

Prescribed Fee : Rs.35/- for the 1st year and subsequent year Rs.10/-  more FAQ
